The Executive Director must possess thorough knowledge of and support of the mission, objectives, policies, programs and procedures of the Childhood Language Center; and the principles and practices of managing non-profit organizations with the respect to business and general program operations; fundraising and strategic planning. The Executive Director must have demonstrated experience (including, but not limited to) the following key responsibilities: Internal operations of an organization, such as financial controls, accounting, adherence to legal requirements and reports, payroll, staff supervision, strategic planning, technology development, etc. Development of an annual budget for review and approval from a Board of Directors to include ensuring its success and solvency to the organization. The implementation of all volunteer recruitment, recognition and training procedures (including board development) which will utilize the skills and expertise of the volunteers in the most effective manner possible for all aspects of the organization. The development, implementation and evaluation of all programs approved by the Board of Directors to include the development and implementation of marketing and communication plans Assures the organization and its mission, programs, and services are consistently presented strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders. Overseeing fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funder, submitting proposals and administrating fundraising records and documentation Effectively manage the human resources of the agency according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations.
